The woman was Daphne Guinness, friend, client and confidante of the designer who was found dead at his home in London, early yesterday. Ms Guinness was one of many drawn to the tragic memorial on that icy street last night; one of thousands trying to come to terms with the sudden and shocking loss of a man whose magical, often macabre and mind-blowing visions transformed the world of fashion. ❞
